Yoyo Fanclub Questionaire – Yanggoon (Dec. 1994)

Found on the Seo Taiji & Boys fansite SB Bang.

***

Q: We heard you recently bought a computer, but we thought you had one before. Why did you buy a new one?
Bwahahahahaha! How do you know?
The one I had before was my younger brother’s, so the one I bought now is for music. Truth is, I don’t understand anything yet. (It’s embarrassing…)

Q: If you had a chance to go to university, would you go? If you went, what field would you study?
I wouldn’t go. Reason one, because I’ve sworn off studying. Reason two, because I don’t wanna go near studying again. Reason three, because if I went to university, it’d be bad for Taiji. (Taiji’s complex) Hahaha.

Q: What’s different between your opinion of show business before entering it and your opinion now?
Before, I thought it was show business.

Q: Your bangs are long now, is it for a new style?
Before, I was under the illusion that Yanggoon is handsome. Now I know myself, so I use concealment tactics as much as possible.

Q: Will you write lyrics for the fourth album too?
Yes, if I’m given the opportunity!

Q: During the concert, you danced the “ooh-la-la dance”, but was it planned?
I wonder why I did it that dance?

Q: You said you have good reflexes, but what are your strong areas?
Personally, I like volleyball.

Q: During your third album promotion, what had changed from your second album promotion?
We didn’t really go on broadcast shows much.

Q: What’s the difference between Korean cars and foreign cars?
Korean cars are a little cheaper. Foreign cars are expensive.

Q: What’s the music oppa likes personally?
R&B.

Q: Going to different countries, what was a time you felt proud to be Korean? Or has that not happened?
?

Q: Do you think you’re conservative? And why?
I really hate conservatives.

Q: Did you really buy a model airplane? Why? (Did your hobbies change? Was it to match Taiji?)
Taiji roped me into buying it by being like “buy it, buy it!” for three entire days and nights…. I bla~aa~ame~e Taiji!

Q: I was disappointed not to see you guys on the TV broadcast of “Tomorrow Is Too Late” (an annual environmentalist concert), but what are your feelings about it? And what about Kim Gunmo breaking his promise to appear three times?
It’s the same as the rap in Hayeoga: “I don’t feel anything”. In the end, not upholding a promise made to everyone is nothing but inexcusable.

Q: Since your debut, you’ve probably received many fan letters and presents, but where do you keep them?
Of course I keep them all. The slightly older ones are in the basement, and the recent ones are placed in the room. My room, I mean.

Q: If you were to have a nickname, what would it be?
Yang Cruise

Q: Don’t you want Seo Taiji & Boys’s albums to have more songs written by you?
I think around Seo Taiji & Boys’s 45th album, I’ll be able to.

Q: Among Seo Taiji & Boys’s songs, there are two that you wrote, and they’re both about love. Is there a subject you especially want to write about next time?
Yes, I was trying to think about it but it’s embarrassing so it’s a secret.

Q: One word to the fanclub members.
Recently it’s been really cold. Take care of your health.
So that every one of you can always be with Seo Taiji & Boys.

Q: One word to finish the questionaire.
Whoa, it’s finished.
