As we all know, 1TYM live for hip-hop and would die for hip-hop. But many of the songs they want to recommend aren’t necessarily hip-hop. These are 1TYM’s “I was listening to that music at that time” song recommendations. So, are you ready to take notes?

Jinhwan

Recommendation #1: A song you listen to during a car ride on a holiday.
Kwaeji na Chingching by 1TYM!
♪Kwaeji na chingching nane~ I think it’s really nice to travel while singing along to this part. I feel really good when I listen to this song while driving. Incidentally, my car is an Enterprise (because it seems like many fans are anxious to know what model it is) and I think it’s good for listening to loud music.

Recommendation #2: A song you want to listen to before confessing your love to a girl.
Thank God I Found You by Mariah Carey.

Recommendation #3: A song that can release some stress on a day where you’re cranky for no reason.
We Will Rock You by Queen. Haha! I guess with that song too, ♪We will, we will rock you~, I sing that part in a loud voice. I feel a little better when I do that.

Recommendation #4: A song that’s suitable for a rainy day.
November Rain by Guns n’ Roses. If you listen to it and to the pitter-patter of the falling rain, it creates a wonderful atmosphere.

Recommendation #5: A song you listen to to get results when you want to burst out crying but the tears won’t come.
Saranghagi Ttaemoone by Yoo Jae Ha. When I listen to that particular song, I feel sad for no reason and I become silent. So I recommend this song when you want to cry.

Recommendation #1: A song you listen to during a car ride on a holiday.
I Want To Break Free by Queen. It’s a song that puts me in a really good mood. I love that song. It’s really nice to listen to it loudly when I’m driving or running without a care in the world.

Recommendation #2: A song you want to listen to before confessing your love to a girl.
One Love by 1TYM. Try it for real. The probability of success is 99%! The melody of this song is perfect to confess your love. Heeheehee!

Recommendation #3: A song that can release some stress on a day where you’re cranky for no reason.
Ak by 1TYM. A song that makes boiling passion overflow from deep inside. I don’t feel stressed anymore when I listen to this song. And here’s one piece of advice. If you sit down and listen to that song well-behavedly, it’ll be a waste! You have to let the music take over your body.

Recommendation #4: A song that’s suitable for a rainy day.
Bed of Roses by Bon Jovi and November Rain by Guns n’ Roses. There’s nothing to say, really.

Recommendation #5: A song you listen to to get results when you want to burst out crying but the tears won’t come.
Hmm. Don’t cry, then! If the tears won’t come, why do something just to make yourself cry?

Recommendation #1: A song you listen to during a car ride on a holiday.
Canned Heat Album by Jamiroquai. Everyone knows I like Jamiroquai, right? I feel really good when I listen to this particular song in my car. Of course you have to crank up the volume to the max, otherwise it’s no good.

Recommendation #2: A song you want to listen to before confessing your love to a girl.
You Must Be Crazy by Laura Fygi. The title doesn’t sound very good, but it’s a song with a beautiful melody. It creates the perfect atmosphere to confess your love.

Recommendation #3: A song that can release some stress on a day where you’re cranky for no reason.
Plastic Machine by Fantastic. I listen to that song when I’m cranky for no reason and it releases the stress. It’s a song that makes me feel better no matter when I listen to it.

Recommendation #4: A song that’s suitable for a rainy day.
Bi Cheoreom, Umak Cheoreom [Like Rain, Like Music] by Kim Hyun Shik. ♪When rain falls and music flows, I think of you~ Those lyrics are beautiful, and not everyone will agree with me, but I think it’s really good.

Recommendation #5: A song you listen to to get results when you want to burst out crying but the tears won’t come.
Ah, right. If I want to cry but the tears won’t come… It’s not a song, and maybe I’m strange, but when I read the story “Abeoji” (Father), the tears flow without fail. It reminds me of my own situation in many ways… Hehe! People who are in similar circumstances will agree.

The Real Slim Shady by Eminem. The lyrics are really fun. The rapping style is unique. If you listen to it, you’ll find that it’s a really upbeat song. It’s a song that’ll make you laugh at least once if you pay attention to the lyrics.

Recommendation #2: A song you want to listen to before confessing your love to a girl.
One Love by 1TYM or The First Time by Surface. The lyrics are really beautiful and so are the melodies… I think that it won’t actually be necessary to confess my love if I listen to these songs before confessing.

Recommendation #3: A song that can release some stress on a day where you’re cranky for no reason.
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana. There’s no song that’s better to get rid of stress, I think.

Recommendation #4: A song that’s suitable for a rainy day.
Whenever, Wherever, Whatever by Maxwell. I don’t think I need to say anything more.

Recommendation #5: A song you listen to to get results when you want to burst out crying but the tears won’t come.
Together Forever by Shai. I have a memory about that song. There was this girl I loved, but she liked another boy. I listened to that song really loudly by myself and cried, so I want to recommend it. I don’t know how it is when other people listen to it, though…
