Since many news sites have deemed Gahee, G-Dragon, Eun Joo, Psy, Lee Haneul, Baek Kyeong and Taeyang’s six-year-old cameo in Jinusean’s Jeonhwabeonho music video to be newsworthy, we here at YG Bounce decided to bring you another not-news scoop:
G-Dragon and Taeyang also had a cameo in 1TYM’s Hot Ddu Geo music video, released in 2003.

Also featured is the dancer Jae Wook, who would later become YG Entertaiment’s resident choreographer. Shocking stuff, we tell you. More screencaps under the cut. Continue reading

Late on August 21st and early on August 22nd, Se7en and Taeyang both posted pics of the fan-made feast they shared, and thanked the fans for it.
Then, in the morning of August 22nd, Taeyang shared a picture of his dog Boss wearing a sign around his neck, with the caption “BABY ^^”. Around his neck, Boss is wearing a handmade sign that says “Hyung-ah chwego” which translates to “[Taeyang] Hyung is the best”.
Both Taeyang’s Solar International album and Big Bang’s Beautiful Hangover single came out on August 25. Also released are the English version of the “I’ll Be There” music video and the “Beautiful Hangover” music video.
Previously, Taeyang performed “I’ll Be There” on Music Core on the 21st, then on Inkigayo on the 22nd. The same day, “I’ll Be There”‘s Korean music video surpassed a million views on Taeyang’s official YouTube channel.

Big Bang’s next Japanese single Beautiful Hangover comes out on August 25th, and we now have a track list, credits, and a 30-second preview of the B-side, “Somebody To Luv”. While there has been a full track for “Beautiful Hangover” floating around, it is an audio rip of a Japanese TV performance and not a legit release.
Track listing:
1. Beautiful Hangover

Music: Nadir Benkahla, Saeed Molavi, Perry Borja
2. Somebody To Luv
Lyrics: Perry Borja, Kitayama Moss, G-Dragon

One of 2NE1′s stylists, Yang Seung Ho (AKA Yanggaeng or Xin), was drafted into the Korean army a while ago, and in his absence, the other half of 2NE1′s shock styling team, Daniel “Sexy” Lee, decided to go back to London, where they both studied. 2NE1 now has a new, female styling duo, one half of which is Seo Han Young. The change took place during April-May.
Seo Han Young is the designer for underground label Viva-H and also has a blog.
On a related note, we’ve read that Seung Ho and Daniel were just taking a break from school in London and were eventually planning to go back, but we’ve been unable to find a source to back that up. Can anyone confirm it?
On August 20th, The Kpop Addict had the great idea of sending an email with a link to Taeyang’s new music video to Perez Hilton, and Perez loved it and re-blogged it, garnering Taeyang a bit more international exposure.
Ricky Martin, puzzled by the trending “#happygday” on Twitter, asked “WTF is #happygday? happy gay day, happy gangster day, happy g-spot day?” He then tweeted “Cool! Happy Bday G-Dragon #GoodKoreanPop” once a fan explained.
Taeyang tweeted a link to the Korean version of his music video for “I’ll Be There” on August 19th. The MV was also released through his official YouTube channel, which also contains an ad for his upcoming solo concert. In addition, he now has an official Facebook, which informs us that “the official album will be released on 25th, August. For now, reveals the title song ‘I’ll Be There’ in advance of its official release.”
YG Life also has its own Facebook, created around the same time as Big Bang’s and 2NE1′s.
According to G-Dragon’s latest UFO Town message, dated August 20th, he’s currently working on a good-quality Big Bang album to celebrate their four-year anniversary. In the same message, he also thanked fans for the birthday wishes.
